INDRA Stay

Run the front desk from your phone.

For homestays, guest houses, hotels and small resorts. Priced for up to 10 rooms (homestay) and 11 to 30 rooms (hotel); with 31 to 80 rooms we quote per property. Reservations, folios, housekeeping, GST invoices and your website in one system. Agents draft the booking replies, your staff approve them.

Illustration: at a small hill-town hotel, a receptionist hands a room key to two travellers with a suitcase, a laid restaurant table beside them.

Everything at the desk

The register, the folio and the website, kept together.

  • Rooms and ratesRoom types, rooms, rate plans and seasons, extra beds, and meal plans: room only, with breakfast, half board and full board.
  • ReservationsBookings from your website, walk-ins and phone calls on one chart. You enter bookings from booking sites by hand. A deposit amount can be recorded on each booking.
  • Front deskCheck-in with guest ID details and room assignment, then check-out. Form C fields for foreign guests are captured, never sent automatically.
  • Folio to GST invoiceRoom nights, food and extras post to the guest’s folio. Check-out turns it into a GST invoice. Hotel tax slabs are settings you control, and the defaults are marked “confirm with your CA”.
  • HousekeepingEach room is clean, dirty, inspected or out of order. A task board for the team, and status changes from the night audit.
  • Your hotel websiteEdit your pages inside INDRA. Room types and rates on the site come straight from your rate plans, and an enquiry becomes a reservation draft.

Agents

Agents draft. Your staff decide.

Three agents work the hotel side. Each one only drafts.

  • Booking-reply drafter

Answers enquiries from your website, and from team chat if you use it, with real availability and rates. Needs the plan with AI.

  • Night-audit checker

Checks the day’s folios and room status and lists what doesn’t add up.

  • Review-reply drafter

Drafts replies to guest reviews for you to approve.

If you run team chat, housekeeping can update rooms from the chat too: “room 104 clean”. That needs a Matrix server and an admin.

Honest list

Not in INDRA yet

Each of these is planned and none has a date. If one of them decides things for you, talk to us before you sign up.

  • Inventory and stock

    Planned, no date

Today: Invoice items have a name, price and GST rate. They do not track quantity in hand, batches or reorder levels.

  • Purchase and vendor bills with ITC

    Planned, no date

Today: An expense records the vendor, the amount and the GST paid, and the GST summary shows tax paid against tax collected. There are no vendor bills with due dates, vendor payments or matching of input tax credit against your GST return.

  • E-invoice (IRN) and e-way bills

    Planned, no date

Today: Invoices are proper GST tax invoices with a UPI QR. INDRA does not call the e-invoice portal or make e-way bills.

  • GST receipt vouchers for advances

    Planned, no date

Today: An advance is recorded in your books as money you hold for the guest and comes off the bill at check-out. INDRA does not issue a receipt voucher or work out GST on the advance when it is paid. Ask your CA how to treat advances.

  • PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS calculation

    Planned, no date

Today: Payroll works out gross pay from attendance and leave. You enter PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS by hand on each payslip, or ask your CA.

  • OTA channel manager and iCal sync

    Planned, no date

Today: Bookings from booking sites are entered by hand. Your rooms and rates do not sync with other sites.

  • Staff roster and housekeeping assignees

    Planned, no date

Today: Housekeeping has a task board and room statuses. Tasks are not assigned to a named person, and there is no shift roster.

  • Guest messaging inbox

    Planned, no date

Today: Agents can draft a reply to an enquiry for you to approve, with a WhatsApp link. There is no inbox that gathers guest messages in one place.

  • Hindi screens

    Planned, no date

Today: Screens are in English. Only the Ask bar takes Hindi, on the plan with AI.

Also not built: a restaurant point of sale and keycard locks. Each needs a partner’s system, so we will build them with the first hotel that needs them.

Price

What it costs

Homestays up to 10 rooms: ₹599 a month without AI, or ₹899 with AI. Hotels with 11 to 30 rooms: ₹1,599 or ₹1,900. With 31 to 80 rooms, we quote per property. Billed yearly, plus 18% GST, no setup fee in this list. The website is included. Draft prices.

For example, a homestay without AI: ₹599 a month, billed yearly = ₹7,188 + 18% GST (₹8,481.84 on the first invoice).
