How it works
Every part of INDRA follows the same loop. Here is each step, with a made-up business so you can see the details.
Step 1 of 3
Each part of INDRA comes with agents that do its clerical work. They prepare drafts, and only drafts. Most are plain rules. A language model is used only where reading or writing language is the job, and each business has a daily spending cap for it.

Step 2 of 3
Drafts wait in one approval inbox. Approve, edit or reject each one there. If you run team chat on a Matrix server, you can approve or reject from the room too. Both paths go through the same checks: who you are and what your role allows.
approve 42 or reject 42, with a reason if you like. This needs a Matrix server and an admin to run it. To change a draft, edit it in the app.Approve a draft yourself, on the web or in chat

Step 3 of 3
Every action writes a receipt that names who did it: a person, an agent or the system. Each receipt carries a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of its contents and of the receipt before it, and is signed with an Ed25519 key.
Tamper with a real receipt and watch the chain break

Agent health
INDRA shows how each agent is doing: drafts made, approved, rejected and corrected. If an agent’s drafts keep getting corrected, you see it there first.
Honest list
Each item below is planned. None has a date, because we do not promise dates we cannot keep. If one of them decides whether INDRA is right for you, talk to us before you sign up.
Today: Invoice items have a name, price and GST rate. They do not track quantity in hand, batches or reorder levels.
Today: An expense records the vendor, the amount and the GST paid, and the GST summary shows tax paid against tax collected. There are no vendor bills with due dates, vendor payments or matching of input tax credit against your GST return.
Today: Each invoice shows what is paid and what is due. There is no running statement for a customer or vendor.
Today: Invoices are proper GST tax invoices with a UPI QR. INDRA does not call the e-invoice portal or make e-way bills.
Today: An advance is recorded in your books as money you hold for the guest and comes off the bill at check-out. INDRA does not issue a receipt voucher or work out GST on the advance when it is paid. Ask your CA how to treat advances.
Today: Payroll works out gross pay from attendance and leave. You enter PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS by hand on each payslip, or ask your CA.
Today: Bookings from booking sites are entered by hand. Your rooms and rates do not sync with other sites.
Today: Housekeeping has a task board and room statuses. Tasks are not assigned to a named person, and there is no shift roster.
Today: Agents can draft a reply to an enquiry for you to approve, with a WhatsApp link. There is no inbox that gathers guest messages in one place.
Today: Screens are in English. Only the Ask bar takes Hindi, on the plan with AI.
Also not built: WhatsApp Business messages sent from INDRA, live bank feeds, GST return filing, a restaurant point of sale and keycard locks. Some of these need a partner’s approval or system.
Coming from Tally?
INDRA is not a copy of Tally. It covers invoicing, books and the people side well, and it leaves out the stock and statutory parts for now. Keep Tally for those, or for your CA, and hand over INDRA’s exports.
